Outstanding Academics
Students at Paramus Catholic High School can choose from many academic programs and courses that help them prepare for college. Our goals include helping students gain college admission, as well as preparing them to study and excel at colleges and universities.
As a result, 99% of Paramus Catholic High School students go on to attend college. Most of these students receive scholarships for academic or athletic performance. The Class of 2022 received $63M in grants and scholarships from all colleges and universities they applied to. Calculating an average based on total scholarships awarded yields about $50,000 per student, which is less than the cost of attending Paramus Catholic High School for four years.
Underscoring our belief that academic excellence is defined as each student developing to the very best of their individual ability, we offer college prep, honors, and advanced placement levels in the curriculum. We also provide opportunities for intensive study or to earn college credits.
Our students are part of a strong, dynamic community, benefiting from small class sizes and individual attention. There is also a focus on learning technology in that each student utilizes an iPad for schoolwork that goes beyond textbooks. Technological resources feature three computer labs, a television studio, digital and still photography, and CAD/CAM labs.
